We just completed the first portion of our unit on balance. Our class had an incredible time with the different explorations and truly became scientists the last couple of weeks. Ask your student to teach you what they know about balance - they know all about using counterweights to create a stable system! We had a great time making mobiles and moving the objects around to create a system that was stable. Many of them have been asking for more opportunities to create mobiles, so this is something that you may want to do as a fun project at home!
